Some of you were enjoying our frozen cherries this past winter from last year. The new crop is now here. These cherries are great for so many things, pies, different baked items, drinks, jam etc. Those customers that love them don't ever want to miss them. We have 3 different varieties:
Jubileum- Dark like a sweet cherry- sweeter than expected for a tart cherry- early season - light crop
Montmorency- The industry standard. By far the most used tart cherry in the US - mid season- plentiful
Balaton- Dark like a sweet cherry, but still tastes tart. This is my favorite tart cherry. Such a rich dark color makes a stunning looking pie. Late season. - plentiful
